North Burnett Renewable Energy Hub - Community Survey

Share your thoughts on the North Burnett Renewable Energy Hub Project

The Project is located approximately 38 kilometres (km) north-west of Eidsvold, in the Wide Bay Burnett Region, has an approximate site area of 2,160 hectares (ha), and is anticipated to compromise a solar farm with a 900-Megawatt Peak (MWp) capacity, with an adjoining 600MW (2400-megawatt hour (MWh)) storage capacity Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).  It is anticipated that the Project solar farms will be constructed in three stages (3x 300MWp solar farms), with each stage having a co-located BESS (3x 200MW storage systems).

The survey has a particular focus on social impacts and benefit sharing opportunities. Your response will help us gain a clear picture of key community values, perceptions about the Project, likely social impacts and opportunities, and thoughts about community benefits.
