Part of building a robust regional economy is ensuring existing and prospective companies the regional assets for them to thrive. Infrastructure takes many forms, including access to highways and byways, high speed internet, and commercial real estate availability. Inter­modal transportation and logistics are critical to a high performance region. The EconAlliance Infrastructure/Transportation/Logistics (ITL) Initiative addresses the assets facilitating trade and commerce and supporting business retention and expansion in the region.

The purpose of this survey is to collect feedback from key growth industry companies and private sector large employers on our current transportation/infrastructure needs and potential enhancements. It is to help prioritize key issues of existing companies, and to share this information with community leaders, local/regional planners and other key stakeholders. We see this survey as only a preliminary step in this effort, and we want to work with all economic stakeholders to leverage survey findings to better support our key private sector regional employers, as well as to determine infrastructure enhancements necessary to be competitive in attracting exciting new companies to northern Santa Barbara County.

All survey information collected will be without attribution, with data being used collectively to assess needs.
