Every election year, Nick News travels the country asking kids what they would ask the presidential candidates if they had the chance. If you are a kid who is following the 2012 presidential campaigns we want to hear your questions.

Some of those questions, as well as the kids who've asked them, will be selected to be part of this year's "Nick News Kids Pick the President" special, in which the 2012 candidates will not only hear your questions but answer them directly.

* 1. What questions do you have about the issues that the candidates have been discussing such as jobs, health care, immigration, energy, taxes, education, etc. and why is that issue important to you? Feel free to ask up to three separate questions about issues.

Sample question: My mom lost her job this past year and it has been hard on my family. I want to know what the candidates will do to increase jobs in the U.S.?

* 2. Do you have any questions that help reveal a candidate's personal character and why is that important to you?

Sample question: I am always picked last when choosing teams. Have the candidates ever been picked last, and if so, what have they learned from it?

* 3. Do you have any fun, light hearted questions you would like to ask each candidate?

Sample: What is your favorite fast food?

* 4. Thank you for sharing your questions with us! If you are interested in being contacted to participate in this show, please let us know how to reach you. Thank you!

* 5. What grade will you be in next year?
