Feedback for the Strava feed

The feed is what brings Strava athletes together. Because of this, we've been hard at work on ways to improve your experience and expand on the power of the feed.

After undergoing months of development, we hope you've had a chance to experience the new feed. You may or may not be seeing all of the updates yet – we’re rolling the different updates out slowly to gather feedback and be sure it’s a great experience.

We’d love to hear what you think about these changes and how we can make the feed even better. The following questions are designed to capture your feedback on all aspects of the feed, from the order of the items to experiencing content other than activities to the re-designed look-and-feel of the feed. We will be listening carefully to our community’s reaction as development continues.

How it Works:

Every Strava athlete gets a personalized feed; we order the items in your feed to ensure that you don’t miss items that matter to you. When you refresh your feed, any content you haven't seen before will be added to the top of the feed, presented in an order based on the items that should be most interesting to you. Anything you’ve already seen will remain in the order in which you saw it. We don’t hide any activities from you - they're all in your feed. The more you interact with the feed, the more it will learn about the activities and athletes you find most interesting.

Your experience may be different if you check your feed every day or once a week. For example, if you are someone who checks their Strava feed multiple times a day, your feed will be closer to chronological as we only reorder the items that are new since the last time you viewed your feed. If you are someone that only checks the feed once every few days, you’ll have more stories to catch up on so your feed will be ordered accordingly.
