The Project

North Harbour Clean Energy Pty Ltd (NHCE) is an Australian company in the early development phase of a project involving the installation and operation of a Battery Energy Storage System near the township of Nerriga (the Project).

The battery energy storage system will assist in matching electricity supply to consumer demand by storing electricity during periods of excess generation or supply for use during periods of high demand.

This project is currently in its scoping phase, which involves conducting environmental studies and engaging with local stakeholders. This survey forms part of the early engagement for the Project. The responses to this survey will be used by NHCE and Accent Environmental Consultants (Accent) to understand the issues that matter most to you and other residents in your community, and to identify what you see as the potential impacts (positive and negative) of the Project.

Participation is completely voluntary, so please only complete those questions that you are comfortable in answering. If you prefer, you can respond on an anonymous basis. All information you provide is confidential and will only be used by NHCE and Accent for contact purposes if indicated, or in aggregated/deidentified form in analysis and reporting.
