Are you working in health, business or the not-for-profit sector with an interest in food?
Join the National Good Food Network now to help shape a national project to restore New Zealand’s food system.
Industrialised farming is polluting our water, obesity is becoming a national health crisis, food is being wasted and Kiwi kids are going hungry.
The Sustainable Business Network has invested two years to bring together the key people from all sectors in the food system. Together we are ready to tackle the crisis in New Zealand’s food. We would love you to be part of it.
Details -
The National Good Food Network is a full year training programme for organisations. The expectation is that a staff member commits to taking part in 3 full day meet ups across New Zealand, at three different times of year (September, December 2016 and March 2017). The staff member must be actively working on food systems and have a project they are working on to apply the learnings of the programme. The programme costs $2000 +GST for SBN member and $3000 + GST for non member. We are currently applying for funding to remove the cost for not-for-profit and unfunded organisations. If you are an organisation that cannot afford the fees but would like to take part, please contact emily@sustainable.org.nz so we can discuss.
