The Chamber of Commerce has given approval to Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) to survey its membership on a topic of potential interest and benefit to members. In order to identify alternative sources of revenue, the school division is exploring community interest and implications of the sale of naming rights to its existing public facilities. Naming rights are a financial transaction whereby a corporation or other entity purchases the right to change or alter the name of a school facility, typically for a defined period of time. The School Board and FCPS would appreciate your responses, as a business leader and potential participant in this opportunity, to the following questions. Neither your name, nor the name of your business will be disclosed in any use or reporting of findings from this query. This survey will take between 5-10 minutes to complete.
