Name our New Student Conference |
The Office of Collegewide Student Affairs is giving you, the students, a new and exciting opportunity; the chance to help us name our new fall student conference! The Student Academic Conference has been around for thirteen amazing years and although we hope to keep some of the highlights from the conference, we're really excited to be giving it a face lift for 2017.
The new fall conference will be three-days, held in Albany, NY from Nov.2-4 and it will focus more on networking, professional development, enhancing leadership skills, etc... We know from past conference evaluations this change is something the students have been asking for, for some time and we are excited to bring that to you. Our goal is that students walk away from the new conference with tangible skills yet ensure that it will still bring together students from all geographic and academic areas of the college to share and learn from each other in a variety of ways.

Before we can begin the process of putting everything together we need a name for our new conference and who better than to determine that than our students. Please take a moment to fill out the survey below with your suggestions.
We encourage you to be creative and think outside the box. We are really looking forward to review them. Our goal is collect three to five names that we enjoy and from there we’d vote on our top choice.
