CDANZ – Career Development Association of New Zealand, in partnership with AUT School of Clinical Studies is proud to present the NZ Occupational Rehabilitation Conference 2019.
This biennial event draws together the multidisciplinary professionals delivering vocational rehabilitation programmes through ACC, Ministry of Social Development, community based and private providers.
NZORC19 is a one day professional development and networking event designed to showcase best practice and connect professionals for discussion and reflection on their work, towards best possible client outcomes.
NZORC has been held twice before and attracts 80-100 attendees plus a small group of exhibitors who benefit from the opportunity to showcase their goods and services to a select and targeted audience. Attendees in previous years have included vocational consultants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, occupational physicians, nurses and other industry stakeholders.
Contribute to our programme The NZORC programme is determined by a programming team comprised of practitioners, academics and industry stakeholders, as well as the event producer employed by CDANZ.
To increase reach, relevance and representation this year we are also opening up an Expression of Interest process to the wider sector. If you have something you would like to share with your peers at NZORC19 please complete this short survey to make your submission.
Expressions of Interests close on Monday 3 December. We will be in touch with you before 14 December with feedback on your submission.
The programme will be comprised of Key Notes, Workshops and Panel Discussions. The programming panel will review the EOIs and weave them, where possible, into the programme for the day. We do have time restrictions so not all submissions will be accepted and we may ask you to combine your presentation with others or participate on a panel. Please remain flexible and we will do our best to accommodate strong submissions. CDANZ also offers a webinar programme and online publication and we may be able to work with your to explore other ways to share your submission if we cannot accommodate you on the conference programme.
Conditions of participation If you are offered an opportunity to participate in the programme of NZORC19 you will be required to register and pay to attend the Conference and pay for your own transport to the event which will be held on Monday 1 April at AUT in Auckland Central.
We have created this event as a platform for sharing but keep registration fees as affordable as possible. We do not offer speakers fees or expenses through the EOI process.
