Large and small, newspapers are struggling – and readers are helping them survive in new ways. The Los Altos Town Crier relies exclusively on our subscribers and advertisers, and receives no public funding.

We are testing a membership option for readers who’ve never had a subscription and/or prefer to get all their news online. Current subscribers will find some expanded newsroom perks, too.

We need to evolve to keep independent news alive in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Mountain View and we need your help to do it right. Your answers will help guide us. Here are 5 questions to start the conversation:
