Application Instructions

Please use this form to apply to the NAELA Board of Directors for the 2023-24 term. Applicants should carefully read the below description of Board service before submitting their application.  
 
A complete application for service on the Board of Directors includes: (1) This completed form and (2) a copy of a recent curriculum vitae or resume.  
 
Individuals interested in pursuing a position as a Board Officer should also submit (3) a Letter of Intent. The Letter of Intent should include the following: 
  • Where you envision NAELA leading in the next 3 – 5 years
  • Identification of needs and interests of NAELA members 
  • How you would help shape NAELA as a leader on the Board of Directors
  • The leadership style you would employ while working on the Executive Committee
  • Personal strengths you bring to the Executive Committee
  • How you view their internal and external role as an Officer.  
 
Applications are due before 9/9/22. Please note that the Nominating Committee reserves the right to request additional information after reviewing your application.
