Thanks for completing Eating Disorders Victoria’s (EDV) annual Community Survey. It's an opportunity to have your say about eating disorder care, your experiences with EDV, and key issues that matter to you.

Your responses helps us improve our services, and advocate more broadly for the change you want to see.

What's involved?

The Community Survey is for:
  • anyone impacted by an eating disorder (including if they have recovered),
  • their carers and loved ones,
  • professionals who work in eating disorders, and
  • people who have donated to EDV.
You do not have to have ever used EDV services to complete the survey.

Depending on which sections apply to you, the survey may take between 10 minutes to 25 minutes to complete.

Participation in this survey is voluntary, and you can exit or stop at any time.

Survey responses are recorded as you go, so you can start it and can come back.

By taking this survey, you can choose to go in the running to win a $100 Visa card voucher. Only completed surveys are eligible.

NOTE:
This survey is not monitored for queries, service bookings or crises. If you need help, please contact the EDV Hub: 1300 550 236.

While we welcome honest and constructive feedback, this survey is not a channel for formal complaints. To make a complaint, please see our complaints page.
How we use your survey responses

The Community Survey builds an evidence base of people’s experiences with eating disorders. We use this evidence to help us improve our services, and advocate for change beyond EDV.

Any information you provide in the Survey is confidential and treated in accordance with EDV’s Privacy Policy.

We may use Survey responses publicly; these will always be anonymous and de-identified. Examples could include (but are not limited to) in reports (including our annual report), on our website, or on our social media. We might also use the Survey data when we talk to other organisations or to government about the changes that need to happen for eating disorder and mental health care. Due to all responses being anonymous and separated from any contact details you may share, we aren't able to remove any responses once you have shared them.

If you have any questions, you can contact communications@EatingDisorders.org.au.
