Bellingham Hill Park
View of Bellingham Hill Park in Chelsea, MA
Bellingham Hill Park is a 0.4-acre neighborhood park located on the corner of Bellingham Street and Highland Street in Chelsea. The City's Housing & Community Development Department has selected CBA Landscape Architects LLC to prepare a schematic design for renovations to the park, which will be submitted as part of a grant application over this summer. If the grant is successful, the preferred design is expected to start construction in 2027.

On Tuesday, June 16 at 5:30 PM CBA and the City will host a public meeting at the park to collect more input on possible design alternatives - we invite you to join us for that meeting! More information will be posted at the park and on social media.

This survey is an early step in the process - we are seeking broad public input so the renovations best meet the needs and goals of the Chelsea community as a whole and the immediate neighborhood of Bellingham Hill Park. This survey and the public meetings will help the City obtain grant funding for the park renovation. The following pages include a few questions regarding the site, designed to help us understand how you use the park, what you see as important features to keep or to add, and what your hopes are for this community space.
