The North West Company Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Survey 2023

Introduction

The North West Company (NWC) recognizes the importance of listening and engaging with our stakeholders1 as an important pathway to improve our business activity and efforts towards sustainability2. Listening and learning from different groups of people and individuals is an essential component to our continuous improvement. The purpose of this survey is to help us understand your opinions and priorities about which Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)3 topics are the most important to you, in relation to NWC business activity. Specifically, we look forward to hearing from you and understanding how important it is for you that NWC contributes to address specific environmental, social and governance topics.

[4] Material topics are defined as topics that represent the organization’s most significant impacts on the economy, environment, and people, including impacts on their human rights (Global Reporting Initiative, 2022).
