Evaluation of Musculoskeletal Learning and Knowledge Retention Among Post-Graduate Physicians

Welcome to this survey on Musculoskeletal Learning and Knowledge Retention.
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries and diseases are among the most frequent reasons patients visit a physician.
  • Previous literature has indicated that without proper MSK education, many physicians lack sufficient knowledge, confidence and clinical skills when practicing MSK medicine.
  • A recent survey of Canadian medical schools indicated that the U of M's MSK medicine curriculum is comparable to that of other Canadian accredited medical programs.
The goal of this study is to examine MSK medicine learning and knowledge retention among post-graduate physicians from the U of M medical classes of 2018 through 2023.

This survey will begin with a brief demographic questionnaire followed by a validated multiple-choice quiz on common MSK topics that should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. The correct response to each question will be provided immediately following each response you submit.

We thank you for your participation. Your feedback is important for improving MSK medical education at the University of Manitoba.
