Current Practices in S8 Administration & Handling in Vet Clinical Environment

Survey

The National Industry Advisory Group for Veterinary Nursing is conducting an anonymous survey to determine the veterinary profession and industries’ views on administration of S8 medications in the veterinary practice.
We understand that, according to legislation, the veterinarian will prescribe and dispense the medications.
However, in this survey, we are only interested in who is responsible for administering S8 drugs and the record keeping of these medications. Administration means: the person who directly administers (oral, injection, CRI, transdermal) the medication immediately to the patient. Whereas, dispensing means to prescribe/sell the medication.

We encourage you to answer the survey truthfully to ensure that a correct analysis of current practices can be determined to assist in advancement of veterinary professional practice and patient care. The survey is being carried out by a third party, Association Professionals, to ensure anonymity.
