Regional Champion Nominations

The Northwest New Mexico Council of Governments invites your nomination for Regional Champions!  The COG is excited to recognize Regional Champions for their extraordinary dedication to empower and move Northwest New Mexico.  Nominations will be accepted for McKinley, Cibola and San Juan counties.  One Regional Champion will be selected from each county.  Nominations may be submitted by any NWNMCOG member government or partner.  To nominate a Champion please complete and submit the attached form before the deadline.  Awardees will be announced and honored during the NWNMCOG Annual Luncheon.                                                                         
CRITERIA:
Nominees must demonstrate regional leadership, collaboration and service to Northwest New Mexico by fostering partnerships with COG and local communities.  Nominees will also demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of life, economy, environment and overall development of the region. 
 
DEADLINE: End of Business May 14

§  Final recommendations of Regional Champions will be provided by the Executive Committee to the Board Chair who will make the final selection based on the recommendations submitted.

§  After the selection process, nominator will be asked to complete and submit a brief biographical piece and photograph to the COG.
