Visitors undertaking long-distance walking and cycling trails often need single night accommodation as they move to a different location each day as they make their way along the route. This is fine when there is sufficient serviced accommodation (hotels, B&Bs and guest houses) where visitors want to stop overnight.

If, however, there is only non-serviced accommodation then booking for single nights may not be as easy as there are often fewer providers accepting single nights as more turnaround/cleaning time is usually required for these types of properties.

As part of the development of the visitor experience along the River Tweed Trail we are keen to audit what the non-serviced single night accommodation provision is on the route. It would be helpful if you can complete this short survey so we can see where there might be gaps.
