Northland Vegetation Control - Lifestyle/Pasture Spraying

Lifestyle Block Pasture Spraying 2026 - BOOKING FORM

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR 2026 LIFESTYLE SPRAYING SERVICE

Please complete the booking form below to register your property for pasture spraying in 2026.
Please note: You will need to complete this form even if we have sprayed your property in previous years. This helps us keep our records and databases up to date, reduces paperwork, and ensures we continue to meet regional council requirements and our health and safety obligations.
When completing the form, please provide:
- Your preferred chemical option
- An estimate of the number of hectares requiring spraying
- Details of any sensitive areas
- Any hazards, access issues, stock, waterways, buildings, or other important information we need to be aware of

WHEN WILL SPRAYING TAKE PLACE?
We are hoping to begin spraying in September, subject to suitable ground and weather conditions.
We sprayed more than 100 properties last year, so there will be a booking list and some waiting time. Please understand that spraying is very weather-dependent and we can only operate when conditions are suitable — particularly when there is no rain and very little wind.
For this reason, we are unable to guarantee specific spraying dates or times in advance.
Once you have submitted your booking form, we will contact you closer to the time of spraying by email or phone to arrange the work.
Thank you very much for choosing us. We really appreciate your business and look forward to working with you.
If you require any further information, please complete the booking form first and then email us at nvc2012ltd@gmail.com.
Thank you.

5.What is the physical address that you would like the spraying completed at? Please supply any extra information if the property is hard to find.(Required.)
6.We use GPS technology so you will only be charged for the exact area/hectares sprayed however it is good to have an estimate of how much chemical we need to have on board.

How many hectares is your property approximately?
(Required.)
7.If you have a map of your property, you can attach it here. (if you are not going to be home we will need a map, this can just be a google map with boundaries and other areas identified)
No file chosen
8.It is your responsibility as a landowner to tell us all of the hazards we may encounter on your property.
Are there any sensitive areas, risks or hazards our applicator needs to know about i.e vegetable gardens, flowers, animals, slippery, wet areas, holes, organic farms or orchards on boundaries etc?
(Required.)
9.If we cannot boom spray (drive) on all of your property, do you wish for us to gun spray the hard-to-reach areas, corners, yards etc?
Please elaborate if there are extra areas you would like done other than the obvious paddocks? Gun spraying is charged on a per 15 minute rate ($30per 15min + chemical) and is on top of the boom spraying per ha rate.
(Required.)
10.Which chemical would you like to use?

Conquest - Conquest works well on broadleaf weeds, including carrot weed, but also ragwort, thistles, oxeye daisy, buttercup and dock. The only downfall is that it is hard on clover and will kill it or stunt its growth. If you have loads of different weeds and want a good pasture clean this is a great option, bearing in mind it will damage your clover. Most people who have horses find this option the best.

Amine - A Selective Broadleaf herbicide – works well on broad leaf weeds and carrot weed however is not effective on quite a few of the regular weeds found, including dock and oxeye daisy.
(Amine is the most common herbicide used for hay paddocks throughout the season as it will not stunt the grass growth)

Amine, Valdo, Spray oil mix
- This mix works well on broadleaf weeds and carrot weed but also will do buttercup and oxeye daisy. It WILL NOT do dock. The beauty of this mix is that it does not kill clover. So if you are wanting a fairly broad pasture clean and want to retain your clover this may be a good option.

Pricing includes Application and Chemical. Travel will be charged accordingly from our yard at Ruatangata/Matarau area. There is a minimum 1 ha charge.
(Required.)
11.If you are making hay from your property its best done earlier in the season.
Are you making hay from any of your pasture??
12.By filling in this booking form and requesting us to complete your pasture spraying you agree to and understand the following terms and conditions

- I understand that it is my responsibility (as landowner) to inform my neighbours in advance that I will be using a spray contractor to spray my property and that I will be using herbicide chemicals
(either Amine, Conquest, or the Amine/Valdo Mix).

- I agree to ensure the applicator is informed prior to spraying or on arrival of any sensitive areas such as vegetable gardens, flowers, animals etc. Areas that have been sprayed cannot be used for compost for 6 months.

- I agree to identify and advise the applicator of any risks or hazards on and around my property before the spraying takes place.

- I'm aware that I will need to provide a detailed map of the area to be sprayed or be home at the time of spraying. Map either needs to be emailed prior to spraying or left in the mailbox. NO PHONE CONVERSATIONS FOR BOUNDARY DETAILS IF YOU ARE NOT HOME.

- I understand there is a two-week meat withholding for stock with both the Amine and Conquest chemicals.

- I understand that payment will be expected within 10 days of invoice.
(Required.)
