NUSD Pathway to Learning Selection

Return to learning for all students will be August 17, 2020. Nadaburg Unified School District students and families will have options for learning. Please read the description for each learning pathway and select the pathway that best fits your student’s needs and the needs of your family:

Pre K-8th grade

In-Person Pathway to Learning

The in-person model of instruction is designed for students and families that would like their children to attend their current school in a traditional classroom setting.  This model will also be prepared to transition online if needed. Extensive sanitation and personal protective equipment will be implemented in accordance with the CDC recommended guidelines.

 

Online Pathway to Learning

The online learning model is focused on self-paced instruction and opportunities for acceleration. Personalized live teacher support and connection will occur several times each week. Electives are offered online for students, but students may also participate in the home school activities, sports and extra-curricular programs while adhering to the CDC safety and health guidelines. Online students will take benchmark assessments and summative assessments online with proctoring or in person with proctoring. Learning Platform: Florida Virtual Learning or ASU Prep Digital

OPTION 1: NUSD teacher facilitation of online learning using Florida Virtual Learning or ASU Prep content aligned to AZ standards.

OPTION 2: Online instruction provided by instructors from Florida Virtual Learning or ASU Prep using content aligned to AZ standards.

 

High School

Blended Model Pathway to Learning (HS 9th grade only)

The blended model will follow the health and safety protocols for in-person learning but will also include ASU Prep Digital online. Students will receive direct instruction from Nadaburg high school teachers and experience community and student learning choice in the beautifully renovated open-concept 9th grade building. A variety of elective options are offered in-person as well as online and students may participate in clubs, athletics, and extra-curricular activities while adhering to the CDC safety and health guidelines. Students will receive individual devices to utilize for their learning.
