Together, we've been monitoring a bunch of Tassie threatened species for nine years now! Hundreds of signed-up NatureTrackers have contributed their time, brains and effort to Where? Where? Wedgie!, Claws on the Line and CallTrackers; it's been awesome. It’s time to bring us all together, to celebrate our efforts and achievements, and to update and inspire both current and potential NatureTrackers.
Hence… a 'NatureTrackers Together' Expo, on Sunday 15th November. Together, let's review the projects' questions, methods, findings so far and plans for the future. It’s an opportunity to delve deeper into the fascinating science of wildlife monitoring, connect it to other conservation aims, ask our own questions, and share our stories and ideas.
The Expo will be online, but… between us, can we host some concurrent in-person sessions at key regions around Tassie – for example, at a community venue? We are widely scattered – it would be wonderful if local NatureTrackers had the option of coming together, to interact in person, exchange tips and develop ideas together to share with the overall Expo.
And what else should be included? Please could you share your ideas on how to make it an Exceptional Expo in the ten questions below? (If you’re in a hurry, please do answer at least the first question!)
