What is TIEPOLO?

TIEPOLO is a tailor-made staff placement that allows staff from philanthropic organisations to develop their skills by spending time working in and learning from another philanthropy. Since its launch, TIEPOLO has facilitated over 40 placements across 18 countries, building a vibrant network of professionals equipped with new perspectives, practical tools, and enduring relationships. TIEPOLO covers a wide range of topics and approaches to meet different learning needs to advance knowledge and expertise in the wider philanthropic sector. Tiepolists spend from 2 to 5 days at the host organisations.

Staff working for Philea members, from any field of work or level of experience.

How to apply

The Tiepolo programme will only accept applications during two dedicated periods in 2026:

20 January–20 February
20 May – 20 June

To apply, fill in this application form during the application period, our team will then assess your profile, check for potential matches and get back to you within 6-8 weeks. This update aims to make the process clearer and easier to plan for those interested in participating.
