The Kiln Studios are pottery painting studios, designed to be a warm and inviting space where everyone can relax, unwind, and explore their creativity.
We pride ourself on a welcoming atmosphere and a friendly team ensure a memorable experience for all. With a strong focus on excellent customer service, but outlined below are a few more duties as well as great customer service.
Main duties include:
Taking bookings
Welcoming guests
Running customers through processes
Making and serving drinks
General studio upkeep
Cleaning palettes, brushes and other studio equipment
Light cleaning of the studio
Setting up tables
Descriptions of pieces
Payments from customers
Customer collections
Clear communication with owner and staff
Opening and closing the studio
Other duties (with extra training) may include:
Glazing pieces
Stock takes
Loading a kiln
Unpacking deliveries
Hosting Functions and Workshops
You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as we reasonably require.
We try to have set shifts at the studios, but theres always shift swaps and plenty of holiday allowance.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
The starting wage is NWM but there maybe scope in the future to review this.
