Resident Involvement in Housing

Lambeth's Resident Involvement in Housing Scrutiny Commission was established in April 2015 with the aim of establishing how best residents could be involved in the governance, scrutiny and delivery of housing-related works and services, in order to drive up satisfaction and improvement.

Councils undertake commissions when they want to examine an issue or a process in detail. Scrutiny may be one meeting or it may be a longer enquiry. A longer enquiry may invite some members of the public as well as councillors to review a function of the council.

Over the course of its meetings the commission has heard from a variety of contributors including academics, housing associations and national organisations identified as purveyors of good practice, other local authorities, officers and others.

The commission has formulated a set of draft recommendations and wishes to obtain feedback prior to their finalisation. We would be very grateful if you could provide your views on the following recommendations in order that they may be considered prior to the commission completing its final report.

Please consider each of the recommendations listed below. The survey should take no longer than 10 mins of your time.
