NSW RURAL DOCTORS NETWORK
HEALTH OUTREACH EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The aim of the Outreach Program is to increase access to medical, allied health and nursing services for people living in remote, regional and Aboriginal communities. This is accomplished through the development and support of health outreach services and also by building the capacity of the rural health workforce through upskilling.

Working in health outreach services can be a very rewarding and challenging experience for health outreach practitioners. In addition, health practitioners participating in the Outreach Program are eligible to claim for some of the costs associated with travel, accommodation and facility hire. Remuneration for many health outreach practitioners is derived from billings or a salary arrangement can be made for some professions and circumstances.

If you would like to be involved in health outreach services in remote, rural or regional NSW, please express your interest by completing the form below. RDN will treat your information as confidential and will be in touch with you regarding available health outreach vacancies.
