This interactive virtual workshop series will introduce faculty, postdocs and graduate students to the why, what and how of mentoring undergraduates in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) research in a wide range of institutional contexts. Participants will leave with the tools to craft a philosophy for a more inclusive and equitable approach to mentoring while gaining access to resources and connecting with colleagues throughout Nevada.

SPREAD THE WORD! These sessions are designed to build research mentoring capacity throughout Nevada. It is beneficial to have at least 3 participants from each NSHE institution in attendance. Ideally, each institution should have administrative, faculty and student representation who are involved as mentor, mentee and/or program coordinator.
