Whitehorse RCMP Policing Priorities
Whitehorse RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance on helping shape their detachment level priorities for 2025/2026, through a survey that will be available until July 3, 2025.
Policing priorities are identified for the Yukon RCMP by the Yukon Minister of Justice and are informed by the work of the Yukon Police Council and Yukon Department of Justice. Whitehorse RCMP Detachment also sets their own community-specific priorities, with input and consultation from the Whitehorse community, local leadership, governments, and stakeholders.
The survey is open as of June 5, 2025, the final date to submit survey responses is July 3, 2025. The survey is accessible in the following ways only until July at 3 pm:
- Paper copies and a drop box will be available at Whitehorse RCMP Detachment front desk;
- A labelled drop box will be available during business hours in the lobby at the Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce, located at 302 Steele St #101, Whitehorse;
