Mentor Program

GIA offers a mentoring program as a member benefit. Mentoring is an effective avenue for our members to help each other build expertise in the field. Experienced GIA members may serve as mentors for people who are new to the field of aging and/or philanthropy. Areas for mentoring might include a general orientation to the field of aging, current trends in philanthropy, strategies for grantmaking in aging, identifying leaders and resources or any other topic of mutual interest.
