Please fill out the questions below for the nominated program / person. The experienced panel of judges will review and score the information, and will not accept additional information, brochures, etc. on the program, so do your best to describe the worthiness of the nominee clearly and succinctly.

We expect / prefer a representative from the winners to be at the award ceremony at the Resource Recycling Conference, to be held virtually on November 9-10, 2022.

INSTRUCTIONS:  BEFORE YOU START -- FIRST PREPARE 2 WORD DOCUMENTS!  Don't start the survey response UNTIL YOU'VE PREPARED THESE DOCUMENTS.  Note that you will need a summary of 150 words and an overall describing document of 500 words or less that describes the nominee in terms of the following criteria: 
  • Outstanding Higher Education Award:  awarded to a college / university with an exceptional program in recycling or in connecting higher education and industry in the areas of degrees, applied research / tech transfer, career services, and links with recycling and materials management industries.
  • Criteria for ALL OTHER award categories:  Effect on recycling, Hierarchy, and tons (optional for lifetime achievement & Heenan Emerging Leader); Coverage and longevity of program; Innovation / Leadership / cutting edge; and Program Economics.
 
Awards will be presented at the National Recycling Conference, to be held virtually on November 9-10, 2022.
