PALS FOR ALL SURVEY |
PALS for All Pet-Inclusivity Survey
Urban Resource Institute is exploring the human services sector’s approach to pet-inclusivity practices across the United States. We are curious to learn current levels of and barriers to achieving pet-inclusivity, along with the resources needed to both implement and sustain this type of programming.
We define pet-inclusivity or pet-inclusive services as any capacity that your organization takes pet/animals into consideration when working with program participants. Some examples of pet-inclusive services are: asking about pets during intake, mentioning pets on your website, offering pet food or supplies, providing referrals for veterinary care, accommodating pets in facilities, including pets in safety and discharge planning, etc.
We are interested in hearing from any service provider that works with the population impacted by either/both gender-based violence and housing insecurity. You do not need to provide temporary housing in order to reply to this survey. In fact, we hope to hear from a variety of organizations providing other services such as advocacy, case management, education or training, legal assistance, food distribution or counseling -- we want to reach a wide and diverse group of organizations!
The responses collected will be used to create a report on the state of pet-inclusive services in the United States and additionally inform the services and resources provided by URI and PALS for All.
