Women in STEM Mentee Application 2018-2019

Women often find themselves facing difficulties in adjusting to the demands, social, academic, etc. of university STEM programs. The Women in STEM (WiSTEM) Mentorship Program seeks to improve that transition with programming designed to encourage the retention of women in science, technology, engineering, and math through academic and personal support. As a WiSTEM mentee, you will be matched with an upperclasswoman mentor who will be a resource for advice, guidance, and information. This program is a great opportunity to get the inside scoop on being successful in the STEM fields in and outside of UConn.

Qualifications:

· Be a current UConn undergraduate first or second year student who will be enrolled on the Storrs campus for the entire Fall 2018/Spring 2019 academic year.
