This survey forms part of a research project to study the safe use of transvaginal ultrasound scanning which has been funded by the Department of Health. The project is being carried out by the National Physical Laboratory, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The project aims to document current and past exposure levels in obstetric ultrasound scanning and transvaginal ultrasound scanning for obstetric and gynaecological applications, and to survey the temperature rise caused by clinical transvaginal ultrasound equipment during scanning. The purpose of this questionnaire is to document current practice in transvaginal ultrasound scanning from individual users in a range of centres around the UK.

There will be a chance to input your contact details for this purpose later in the survey. The results will also be disseminated to the wider scientific and clinical community.
