Celebrating Communities - Finding out about each other
Celebrating Communities is inspired by how communities supported each other during lockdown in Covid-19. We want to work together to create events and activities that bring fun, joy and hope into all our lives. You can read more here: Celebrating Communities Blog
At our first get together on 14th January, we started the conversation with communities and local and national organisations. We're a diverse bunch, but we share a common passion to make life better for people in our communities.
We're coming together to do something really special, where we:
- Create events and activities that give people something to look forward to - Celebrate and value communities and build community resilience - Build friendships and collaboration to make things happen - Find innovative ways of bringing service providers and communities, together as valued partners in how we look after each other - Inspire, encourage and learn from each other - Change the world together
After our first meeting, we'd like to find out more about what we all bring and what we want to achieve. We'd also like to know what you think are the themes or issues we need to focus.
We'll feedback to everyone for our next meeting on 28th January.
