Application for Noyce Scholarships: Students Currently Enrolled in FIUteach
The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program, named for a pioneer of semiconductor development and founder of the semiconductor industry, seeks to encourage talented mathematics and science students to pursue teaching careers in high need schools.
This is an application for the Noyce Scholarship program, that provides up to $12,000 per year, for up to 2 years, in scholarships to students in the final 2 years of their FIUteach program. There are eligibility requirements for award and service obligations. In exchange for the scholarship, the recipient agrees, upon completion of all requirements for certification through the FIUteach program, to teach in a high-needs public school district for two years for each year of scholarship assistance. The total service obligation must be completed within a specific time frame. See the FIUteach Noyce Scholarship page for complete details on eligibility and service obligations. Incomplete applications and ineligible students will not be considered.
Prior to award, all candidates will meet with the Noyce leadership team to review the program requirements, expectations and service obligations, as well as answer any questions.
