Participation Guidelines.  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

The Lubbock Arts Festival will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, 10AM-6PM, and Sunday, April 16, 2023, 12PM-5PM, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane.

The theme of the 45th Annual Lubbock Arts Festival is  “The Beat Goes On!" – celebrating music in all its various forms. We will have a World Music stage, special concerts with different genres of music, strolling musicians and an instrument petting zoo. We encourage you to decorate your booth and have art projects with this theme.

In order to be eligible to participate, non-profit organization must have a mission that is focused on art, entertainment, and culture.

Each non-profit must have a representative present in their booth during the days and times the Arts Festival is open to the general public.

Booth space is assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

Booths are made of pipe & drape, so you must provide your own display set-up. You cannot hang items, such as artwork, off the drape. *NEW* One unskirted table and two chairs will be provided to each booth. Participants will need to provide their own table coverings and signage with their organization/business name.

You may play a looping video, but the volume must remain off.

Non-profits are not allowed to sell food, drink, or balloons. We encourage you to use this opportunity to distribute information about upcoming events (such as camps), sign-up volunteers, or sell season tickets.

A non-profit booth in the Exhibit Hall is $375 for a 10’x10’ and $700 for a 10’x20’.  Please note, there is no reduced rate for members or art groups providing demonstrations. There is no commission on artwork sold in a non-profit booth. We are unable to provide booths made of panels in the Exhibit Hall.

A non-profit booth in the Pedestrian Walkway (Children's Area) is $200 for a 10’x10'. If your organization will provide a free children’s activity, a 10'x10' booth is $50. If you need a larger booth space in the Children's Area, please contact the Lubbock Arts Alliance at assistant@lubbockarts.org or 806-744-2787.

We are asking that all art projects be pre-packaged so they can be handed to each child to take home and complete. Pre-packaged projects helps with traffic flow and moves people from one booth to the next.

Deadline to apply is February 14, 2023. After this date a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with all pertinent show information including set-up times, load-in/out information, etc.
