Springer Publishing Company wants you to join us in celebrating National Nurses Week 2016 (May 6-12)

The theme of National Nurses Week 2016 (May 6-12) is "Creating a Culture of Safety," part of the American Nurses Association's (ANA) year-long campaign of "Safety 360 Taking Responsibility Together."

As a means of celebrating the critical role that nurses play in patient safety, we’re asking you to submit a personal story for our new ebook, Stories of Patient Safety: Nursing Stories for a Safer Future. Please tell us about a time when you or a nurse you know exhibited behavior that contributed to a culture of safety in the health care environment.

Guidelines for Submission

All stories should be no less than 300 words and must be completely original content (we cannot accept articles that have been previously published online or elsewhere). We look forward to reading stories told from the perspective of nurses, patients, and their family members alike.

All submissions that fit our guidelines will be included in our free ebook, which will be distributed on Springerpub.com, as well as Amazon and other online retailers. Send us your story and you will also be entered to win the complete Cherry Ames Series Boxed Set!

Thank you for helping us celebrate National Nurses Week 2016 by continuing the conversation about the real practices nurses are demonstrating that are making a difference in patient safety.

If you have any questions, please feel free reach out to our Marketing Associate for Nursing: lfrisch@springerpub.com .
