EBALDC is developing a new affordable senior housing community in Oakland’s Chinatown, located between the Lake Merritt BART Station and Laney College—on the site that is currently the BART parking lot. Alongside new housing, the project will include a public plaza and ground-floor spaces that connect to nearby community destinations.
We’re gathering input from neighbors, students, elders, and community members to help shape the design, naming, and identity of this new place. Your feedback will guide how the project reflects the stories, culture, and everyday life of Oakland Chinatown and the surrounding area.
This short survey will take about 4 minutes to complete. Thank you for sharing your perspective and helping shape a meaningful place for the community.
