NM Nonprofit Financial Outlook Survey

Your organization's identifiable information will be kept confidential. The data will be aggregated.

Over the past two years, state legislators have proposed bills to tax nonprofits. Even with state revenues higher than expected for the coming fiscal year, tax reform is likely to be on the agenda for the 2019 session.

NM Thrives, the state nonprofit association, is collecting information to share with state legislators so they can make informed decisions. This is our opportunity to contribute to the discussion about the financial and operational effects of legislation on New Mexico nonprofits.

The purpose of this survey is to gather current data about the financial health of New Mexico's nonprofits.

Some nonprofits have already seen a decrease of donations as a result of the new federal tax act. New Mexico has fewer foundation resources that most other states. New Mexico Thrives will share the data report with funders to facilitate dialogues.

New Mexico Thrives advocates for the New Mexico nonprofit sector as a whole and works to promote, strengthen and connect individual organizations.
