Welcome to the Broad Planning Policies, Objectives, and Goals Survey

Thank you for participating in the NMRPC survey. Your feedback is important.
In March 2019, the Nunavik Marine Region Planning Commission (NMRPC or the Commission) launched the Broad Planning Policies, Objectives and Goals Community Engagement Strategy. One of the main components of the strategy is a survey to be undertaken by those people using the Nunavik Marine Region.

The “Nunavik Marine Region” (NMR) is the shoreline and offshore area in Hudson Bay, Hudson Strait, and Ungava Bay.

The Commission is described in Article 6 of the Nunavik Inuit Land Claims Agreement (NILCA) as an institution of public government with one of its the major responsibilities being the establishment of broad planning policies, objectives and goals for the NMR in conjunction with Government. These broad planning policies, objectives and goals are the first step in the land-use planning process for the NMR and will form the backbone of the Nunavik Marine Region Land-Use Plan (NMRLUP).

This survey should only take about 15 minutes to complete. The results of this questionnaire will serve as an input to further refine the Broad Planning Policies, Objectives and Goals for the NMR.
