The New Mexico Public Schools Insurance Authority (NMPSIA) Wellness Program is launching the 2025-2026 Wellness Ambassador program to support the overall health and well-being of New Mexico Public School employees. To promote wellness initiatives at schools and work-sites throughout the state, we are recruiting volunteer Wellness Ambassadors to take this holistic wellness program to their co-workers. Our wellness program providers will partner with us in this initiative.
Wellness Ambassadors are advocates for healthy living, no matter where they are in their personal health journeys. They champion the wellness of themselves and their colleagues at their school or work location. The ideal Wellness Ambassador candidate will be:
• An employee in good standing
• Committed to the health and wellness of themselves and their colleagues
• A great communicator
• Willing to take initiative
• Inspiring to others
• Comfortable promoting wellness programs, both in person and in writing
• A role model for health and well-being
• A great communicator
