Lindfield Parish Council Community Award Scheme Nomination Form

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Parish Council Community Award Scheme, a new initiative designed to celebrate the individuals and groups who make our village such a warm, supportive, and thriving place to live.

Every day, people within our community go above and beyond quietly helping neighbours, organising local activities, supporting village groups, caring for our natural spaces, or simply giving their time to ensure our parish remains a place we are all proud to call home. This award scheme is our way of recognising and thanking those whose efforts often go unnoticed yet make a real difference.

The scheme invites residents to nominate someone they feel has made a positive contribution to parish life. Nominations can be for:

The award is open to people of all ages, and nominees must live in or make a clear contribution to our parish.

Further details on how to submit nominations along with nomination forms will be available on the Parish Council website and Facebook page.

A small panel of Parish Councillors will review all nominations, looking for examples of community spirit, volunteerism, and positive local impact. Award recipients will be announced at the Annual Parish Meeting on the 20th May.

Our village is built on the strong sense of community we all share. The new award scheme provides an opportunity to highlight the good work happening around us, strengthen local pride, and say a heartfelt thank you to the people who make our parish special.
