The Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute (NMDSI) is hosting our second annual symposium on Wednesday, April 24. The event will take place at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Student Union). Event details and tickets are available via Eventbrite.

The event will end with a poster session/networking event highlighting AI/data science experts — students, faculty, researchers, and professionals — from NMDSI partners (Marquette University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Northwestern Mutual), who will create and share posters to showcase their research projects. Participants will present to attendees and should be willing to answer questions and discuss their work.  Attendees will be encouraged to vote for their favorite poster, with the top three "People's Choice" awards being announced through the post-event newsletter.

The expected time commitment for poster session presenters is 1.5 hours during the Poster Session and Networking Reception time slot of the symposium (4:30pm - 6pm). There will be two time slots to set up your poster: 8 - 9 a.m. before the event or noon - 1 pm during lunch. We encourage you to attend the entire symposium, but that is of course optional.
