Notice of Invitation to Participate in CALACT/Basin Transit Coop Bid for Cutaway Vehicles & Vans

Basin Transit Request for Proposal (RFP) #26-01, Multiple Award Joint Procurement for Cutaways and Vans.


Your response to this form is meant to establish a scope of work from participating and interested agencies who would like to use the procurement options for Cutaways and Vans under upcoming RFP #26-01. This form must be submitted to CALACT/Basin Transit in order to participate in RFP #26-01 purchases in the future. Please respond no later than November 4, 2025. For questions or more information, please call 916-920-8018.
Please fill out the minimum and maximum quantities bases on the reasonable and foreseeable needs identified in your service planning process for any purchases you may make during the contract period, (2026-2030). Please only indicate "0" if no purchases are anticipated in a given year.
(Please note that actual footage of bus may be + /- 1 foot.)

* 14. Does your agency have any interest in procuring heavy duty bus repowering/rehabilitation services from the Cooperative. If there is enough interest from the survey, a follow up survey maybe circulated and Basin Transit may develop a scope of work.

We hereby request to be added to the list of association members to be named as participants on the Multiple Award Joint Procurement RFP that Basin Transit will soon be releasing to prospective proposers. We currently have projections of our reasonable and foreseeable needs, based on our Service Planning Process to purchase the quantity of buses identified above and therefore request MBTA to reserve these quantities in its upcoming procurement.
