Dear Farmers and Ranchers, 

I'm Mai Nguyen, a young farmer and the new California Organizer with the National Young Farmers Coalition (NYFC). NYFC is a grassroots network of young farmers, ranchers, and supportive consumers fighting for the future of agriculture. We are building farmer-led change, and want to be sure your voice is heard in shaping the policies and programs that impact you.

For those of you who took our National Young Farmer Survey last year - thank you! This follow-up survey is a chance to better understand the needs of farmers specifically here in California.

This survey should take 5-25 minutes, depending on your circumstance. It will start with questions about you, your experience with government agriculture programs, and then about your farm. Your information will be confidential and only shared in the aggregate.

We will use the results create a policy platform to inform legislators, technical assistance providers, and farm advocates of what they need to do for you to thrive. We hope you will use the results to organize actions and campaigns, and we are here to strengthen your efforts.
