Come to Motueka Catchment Collective's Haycocks Bush Community Weeding Bee to clear Old Man's Beard vines from native vines from Haycocks Bush. This is an iconic site next to the Motueka River and we need your help to restore it!
MCC are continuing their fight against Old Mans' Beard which is taking over in the Motueka Valley & needs to be stopped! Considerable progress has been made on OMB control in the bush by contractors and volunteers. We just need a few more well attended weeding bees to really get on top of it, and finish the work.
Locals & volunteers will be picking up their secateurs & bottles of gel weedkiller to continue their work. All tools & a picnic lunch will be provided.
