Type and delivery of treatment
Product X is a treatment for the prevention of migraine and will be given by a healthcare provider in a healthcare setting. It is administered every 3 months by a healthcare professional via an IV infusion (drip) which lasts for 30 minutes. The insights gathered below will potentially assist the manufacturer and healthcare professionals in appropriate administration and educational support of patients.
Healthcare setting is defined as an array of services (including intravenous therapy) and places where healthcare occurs, including, but are not limited to, hospitals, urgent care centres, nursing homes, long term care centres, outpatient surgery centres, clinicians' offices, community sites, schools, and in the home.
