Since 1996, the GBRIA Safety & Health Audit has aimed to provide GBRIA members with a quality audit protocol to supplement their existing contractor pre-qualification programs. Most member companies utilize pre-qualification software or internal systems to ensure contractor companies have OSHA and company-specific programs. This audit assures that these programs are being implemented. Through our partnership and reciprocity with the Industry Business Roundtable (IBR - formally HBR), members can access hundreds of current audits (conducted within three years).
The audit will be conducted by a 3rd-party auditor who will meet with contractor personnel to review the various elements of the contractor's safety & health program. The audit protocol can be viewed here. This does not include any additional audit protocols requested for completion by the site.
To receive credit for the audit elements, the contractor must show documentation to validate the elements are being executed and do not simply exist on paper.
The cost of the GBRIA Safety & Health Audit is $1,200.00 and must be prepaid.
