Tony Goldstone Mentoring Award 2026

Professor ‘Tony’ Goldstone, co-founder of the UCLH Haematology Service, had a long, prestigious career at UCLH clinically, in research, and as our Medical Director. Tony is also the founder of HCC!
“I have the great privilege to have won a major Mentoring award from ASH (American Society of Haematology) in respect of the effort I carried out mentoring Haematology trainees at UCLH over many years."

Tony donated his award winnings to initiate a local mentoring award in the Haematology Dept at UCLH.

"Mentoring, unlike coaching, is not task specific & often relates to choices in long term career development."
