Hello, Local Government Enthusiasts!

I want to introduce a cooperative project we are undertaking and ask for a small piece of your time to help us.

The Alliance for Innovation, with ELGL, ICMA, Arizona State University (ASU) and the Mejorando Group are developing an article on the Local Government Workplace of the Future. Together, we have created;

• a framework to look at how local government norms and processes have evolved,
• what are the views of early career professionals on some of these norms,
• how might they be changed
• and where are we seeing these changes appear

As a part of this project, we have developed a brief survey for a targeted audience – of which you are included!

We will be sending the survey to ELGL (Emerging Local Government Leaders), ASU Marvin Andrews Fellows, IMCA Leadership participants and interns and the Alliance’s nextERA advisory group. We are asking you – as engaged professionals – to respond to the attached survey by February 20, 2015. We will aggregate the responses and share the results with our partners in this effort. In addition, the Alliance will be hosting a pre-conference workshop on April 12 on this topic at our TLG conference in Phoenix and will be publishing an article in ICMA’s PM magazine for their August edition.

Thank you, in advance, for your participation.
