1. NJLA 2018 Conference Theme: "Speak Freely"

Librarians, administrators, and library school students from across the state are invited to submit proposals for poster sessions at the 2018 New Jersey Library Association Annual Conference on May 31 and June 1. Poster sessions feature innovative library program ideas, success stories, research studies, problem solving and more!

Poster sessions may present any of the following:
-- a report of a research study
-- an analysis of a practical problem-solving effort
-- a description of an innovative library program or service

Poster session participants place materials such as pictures, data, graphs, diagrams and narrative text on 4'x8' poster boards or poster triptychs. Posters must be free standing as wall space is not available. A table will be provided, but you must provide your own poster material and handouts.

Participants have the opportunity to informally discuss their presentations with conference attendees. During one-hour assigned time slots, poster session presenters are required to be available to answer questions and discuss their poster material. You will be provided with a date and time upon approval of your poster session proposal.

The 2018 NJLA Conference will be held Wednesday, May 30 through Friday, June 1 at Harrah's Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City, NJ. Preconferences will be held on Wednesday, May 30, and conference programs and exhibits are scheduled for Thursday, May 31 through Friday, June 1.

Selected poster sessions will be presented on Thursday, May 31, from 2:00-3:00pm and on Friday, June 1, from 11:00am-12:00pm.

The DEADLINE for submitting this form with Poster Session description is Friday, March 2, 2018.
